CTCSS or PL Tones do not transmit

This will happen if the cable is left connected to the radio and is NOT connected to the computer (it sets up a ground loop that causes this problem).

Solution, disconnect the cable from the radio when it's not in use.

Note: If using control software that requires the cable to be connected to the radio AND the computer, this is not a problem, and everything works properly.
