FT-857 / Radio won't go into CLONE mode
Radio Won't Go into CLONE mode - Check two things...
1) Check that you are holding the correct buttons while turning on the radio. It has been amazing which buttons on the radio have been mistaken for the < Mode > keys.
1) Check that you are holding the correct buttons while turning on the radio. It has been amazing which buttons on the radio have been mistaken for the < Mode > keys.
2) The radio has an optional microphone with a keypad. If this mic is attached, the radio will not go into the startup menu (Clone is a part of that startup menu). If any mic is attached, please unplug it from the radio and try again.
