In memory channel programming for these radios, you will find the column DCDM Switch. This is a check box with checked as on and unchecked as off.
From the limited information we found when investigating this option, it seems to allows a simplex channel to operate on Time Slot 1 or Time Slot 2 making it possible, in theory, for two conversations to happen simultaneously on this simplex frequency.
