The RT Systems programmers are compatible with Windows 8/8.1, 10 (all 32 and 64 bit) and Windows 11. The installers on old Version 4 CDs were produced before Windows 10 and 11 version released and may need compatibility mode to run the setup file. This is only an issue for OLD (2012 or so) copies of the setup files being run on new operating systems.
However, once setup is complete, you are finished with compatibility mode. Problems arise when an attempt is made to run the PROGRAMMER in compatibility mode. This is not necessary even if the installer needs compatibility mode to run.

While the installer may require this on some systems, the programmer will not.
The error, dllx.600 or 501 or LOAD error, occurs when you run any of the PROGRAMMERRS (Version 4 or newer) in compatibility mode.
To correct the issue, right click on radio icon, go to properties in the menu that opens, then select the center tab: Compatibility - You DO NOT want a mode checked, if it is checked, un-check "Run this program in Compatibility Mode" and click apply at the bottom.

This should take care of this issue, if you have more than one programmer on your computer, all will have trouble if this is checked in any one of them.
