The RTS-01 works with the IC-706 for controlling the radio through Ham Radio Deluxe or other control software available from other sources.
The RTS-01 works in place of the CT-17 connection cabling available from Icom. Where the CT-17 can connect up to 5 radios to a computer, the RTS-01 works between one radio and one computer.
