Jetstream JT-270 radio transmit ranges. The JT-270 radio has been imported in several versions.
The original that we have is labeled on the bottom with 136-470MHz. The transmit frequency range of this radio is 136-174 and 400-470 MHz.
The second of these radio that we have is labeled on the bottom with V1.03. The transmit frequency range of this radio is 144-146 and 430-440 MHz.
While both radios will accept the same frequencies from the programmer, the RT Systems programmer cannot cause the newer radio to transmit where it is not designed to do so. The frequencies are allowed since both radios have the same receive range.
