The Internet function of the radio is easily accessed accidentally from the radio's face and causes problems. If anyone tells you that you have a "beep" preceding your transmission, this may be (and probably is) the culprit.
This function is turned on or off through the key. But realize this key is also used to lock the keys of the radio. The wrong press and you could end up with the Internet feature activated unexpectedly.
This function cannot be engaged or disengaged from within the programmer. We leave it to you to turn on from the face of the radio so you know you have turned it on.
Options for the Internet function are found in the Settings file of the programmer for you to set and send to the radio.
Remember, if you have that annoying "beep" before each transmission, watch for the Internet symbol on the face of the radio. If it's there, use the key shown above to turn it off and quiet that noise that is accompanying your transmission.
