The Baofeng UV-10R comes in two different configurations. The RT Systems BAO-10R Setup contains programmers for both.
When you run the setup program, you will be presented with this screen. Make your selection to install a certain programmer or if you are not sure, install them both. One will work, the other will not.
If your radio looks like this (in any of its colors), use the UV-10R Programmer
If your radio looks like this, use the UV-10RP Programmer
Remember that things can change without RT Systems being aware. We do not work closely with these manufacturers. We find out about changes when you let us know.
RT Systems will not leave you with software that does not work as long as you have made every effort to order the correct programmer for your radio (you order the wrong one and the error is on you...). We may need to borrow your radio for a few days to know what has changed and make changes in the programmer to address this new model (with the same number...what fun!!). Only through the use of your radio can be be sure that we have the "new" model.
