Machine has lost the MSMask.ocx registration.
- First, run the updater for the programmer. Access it through Help | Check for updates and follow the steps to complete. This can put the registration back if the file is there.
- Check for the file in Windows\SysWOW64 (the machine I was on this morning did not have it there; your guess is as good as mine as to where it went!!)
- If it is not there; reinstall.
The installer will put it in place and register it. - If it is there, presumably it is not registered (this happens ocassionally with these files on computers).
Follow these steps to correct:
Right Click on the Windows Start emblem
Select Run
In the Run box type:
regsvr32 c:\Windows\syswow64\msmask32.ocx
This error may be raised. It is not fatal. Click OK.
Programs like cc_cleaner can cause this problem.
