The BTech GMRS-V2 has the ability to listed to broadcast FM.
In a default radio, this function is accessed through a short press on the side F key (the top one of the two smaller ones on the side).
The Radio Menu Settings of the BTS-GMRSV2 Programmer has the option FM Radio Enable. This option is checked (on) by default. When unchecked, a short press to the side F key yields a beep with no change to the radio thus eliminating Fm broadcast listening.
