July 11, 2026: RT Systems was informed of a change to the MA1 that provided an RX Only or No Transmit option for memory channels. That change was incorporated into the RT Systems programmer for the MA1 as No Transmit in Operating Mode. However, our original radio did not respond to that change. All channels still transmitted.
The Programmer is setting this option just as the manufacturer's software; however, the older radios do not know what to do with that change.
Another way to prevent transmission on a frequency on which you just want to listed, set Transmit frequency to a value in the ham band (maybe 144.000) and power to Low for this channel. Then if you do transmit, you should be legal for your license and the radio.
