GPS Not Working on Radio
When clicking the Menu button to show the GPS setting, they are blank and not flashing.
There could be two reasons for this happening on the VX-8G radio.
1. The GPS Power is set to Off. Change the setting to ON.
2. The Input for the Com Port setting is set to GPS. When the Input is set to GPS the VX-8G is expecting the GPS data to come from an external GPS unit connected to the radio and the VX-8G turns off the internal GPS unit. If not using an external GPS leave the Input for the Com Port setting set to Off.
