All Band Mode
The VX-2 radio will receive in 11 different bands as detailed on page 10 of the radio's manual. These include broadcast, shortwave, TV bands, etc.
If the radio gets toggled into Ham Only mode it will access only 2M and 440MHz bands.
To toggle back into extended receive, press and hold the "Atomic" key, the HM\RV key and the FW key while turning on the radio. These are the three "round" buttons on the left.
The radio will remain in extended receive unless an All Reset is done. At that time, it will return to Ham Only mode.
