VX-7 / Name Display

Name displays only if in single receive and small characters. To get into correct display:

1) Press V/M if necessary, until MR appears at upper right.

2) Press and HOLD Main or sub (depending on whether you are using Main or Sub frequency) until single display.

3) Press Moni then Main to toggle between large and small characters.

Name will be displayed under the frequency when small characters / single receive.

OR...

In the software you need to have "Dual Receive" unchecked - this is in "Menu Settings" - "Toggles tab" left hand column... AND also uncheck "Display2x" in the "Display tab", again in the left-hand column - make sure you save your changes before you leave this screen, then resend the file to the radio.
