Menu button function on VV-898

Changing function of Menu button on Liexen VV-998 radio

The Leixen VV-998 radio has only two programmable buttons that can be configured in three ways given one of them responds to a short and long press. The function of the V/M button and the function of the menu button can be changed to give you better functionality (i.e., starting scanning, changing power, etc). However, if Menu Enabled is checked in the programmer (that is, if t he menu is enabled for access from the face of the radio), the Menu button will not respond to the functionality that is assigned to it.

So you get either a function or the menu. Not both.
