The TH-D74 can be in DV mode on either the A or the B VFO independently but it CANNOT be in DV mode on both VFOs at the same time.
If you have a DV memory selected on the A VFO and then swap to the B VFO any other DV mode memories that you have stored WILL NOT even show up when you turn the VFO knob.
Don't be confused! Your memories are still in the radio. Just take a moment to swap back to the other VFO and make sure that it isn't set to a DV memory as well.
As far as we can tell, this is mentioned exactly one time in the radio's manual on page 5-6. Blink and you'll miss it.
