Which UV-21 do I have???

Here we go again.  This seems to be the pattern of the day. 

This one is worse than others.  There are NO identifying marks or labels on the radios to tell them apart.  The only difference I saw was the display. 

This is the face of the original UV-21.   That one was received in July of 2023.  It uses the UV-21 programmer that was released shortly after it was reviewed. 

This is the face of the new UV-21 received in March 2024.  No, this is not a setting on the radio to change the color.  This is how these come.  It uses the UV-21L program. 

Remember, when you purchase the UV-21 package from RT Systems you receive these two versions of the programmer plus a UV-21 Pro version.  Try them all.  One should work... although these seem to change often. 

Don't skip this step during installation.  Again, if you are not sure, load them all.
