The internal microphone in the TH-D75 has been known to fail which results in the radio having no TX audio. The issue is not common but it has been reported in online social media posts by multiple D75 users. RT Systems has observed it with at least one customer while troubleshooting potential configuration issues.
If you experience an "I can hear them but they cannot hear me" issue with the TH-D75 consider plugging in an external speaker mic and testing again. If it works with the speaker mic then it is likely that your internal microphone has failed and the radio will need to be sent to Kenwood for service and repair.
