When working with this radio and the software it has a few extra steps that you will have to carefully follow.
1. Once the radio and cable are connected to the computer you will need to press and hold the F1 key while pushing the power button to turn the radio on. This will put your radio into CLONE mode.
2. Verify that the radio shows CLONE on the display.
3. Press the dial knob and release. (Dial knob is located to the right)
4. Once you have released the dial knob then you will rotate the same knob until it displays CLONE TX.
5. Click OK on the computer screen and your radio will begin the cloning process and you will also see a green progress bar on the computer. Watch the following video to see these steps discussed above: watch this video
