When programming the TS-2000, A and B bands must BOTH be in VFO mode when transferring data to and from the radio. If either is in memory mode communications between the radio and the computer will fail.
The programmer has this detail in the error message that is shown if communications between the radio and the computer fail.... a good place for the reminder.
