The "P" keys of the FT-65 can have three distinct functions: Memory channel recall, VFO recall, or Menu function recall. To set this up in the programmer:
Go to Settings | Radio Menu Settings.
To set this up in the programmer:
Go to Settings | Radio Menu Settings.
- Here you will assign the function (Type) for each key.
- Select from Memory, VFO or Menu.
- Once you make this selection, the Menu or Memory column will become available based on your selection.
- VFOs are set in the QVFO1, QVFO2, QVFO3 and QVFO4 channels of the Home tab. All the options are found there to set these up completely.
If you plan to use the P1, P2, P3 or P4 keys for VFO:
- Save and exit the settings after setting Type to VFO.
- Access the Home tab at the bottom of the main screen of the programmer.
- Set the details for the channels.
- Access them from the face of the radio with the P1, P2, P3 or P4 key.
