After much testing and programming, it appears that the PTT2 key cannot be programmed from the computer.
I do not know whether it is a feature or a bug of the radio, but the setting reverts to Call anytime the radio is turned off and back on.
Thie 2nd PTT option setting can be changed manually on the Wouxun KG-UV96 HT Radio (long press the MENU button and scroll to Menu #13 press MENU and select #2 (VFTX Key)and press MENU again. However, if the radio is turned OFF and turned back ON, the 2nd PTT option reverts back to the default CALL setting.
