The GM-15Pro radio transmits only on the first 54 channels which are preprogrammed for GMRS.
The remaining channels are for receive only and will accept frequencies from 136-170 MHz and 400-479 MHz for listening.
The frequencies of the first 54 channels cannot be changed. The Operating Mode, Name, Tone Mode, CTCSS, RX CTCSS, DCS and RX DCS values, TX Power, Scan Add, Busy Lock, FHSS, and Signal Code can be changed for each channel.
Given this design, this would not be my first choice of a GMRS radio. You might want two repeaters with the same frequency and different tones entered to use in two different locations. You cannot do that with this radio.
